When I started The Botanical Index, I knew this wouldn’t be something built overnight.

An index grows the same way plants do — steadily, intentionally, and with consistency. Every new addition strengthens the foundation, and every featured plant helps build a more complete resource.

With The Fig Leaf, The Snake Plant, and Pothos already added to the archive, the collection is beginning to take shape. These first entries are just the starting point of what will become a carefully organized A–Z plant library.

New plants will continue to be added regularly, each documented with clear care guidance and botanical background to help you better understand what you’re growing and why it thrives.
